 Miley Cyrus' tour bus burst into flames in dramatic scenes late on Monday night. Nobody was harmed in the incident, which left the vehicle totally gutted.

 Shocking video footage posted online shows the bus burning brightly against the night sky beside the interstate.

 Further images of the aftermath show the interior damaged beyond all recognition, with blackened walls and ceiling, electrical cords hanging down and charred belongings scattered around. 

The incident happened as members of Miley's entourage, including her 14-year-old sister Noah and mother Tish, drove overnight from Houston to New Orleans, a member of the tour party said.

The source said that a burst tire was thought to be blamed for the blaze.
Everyone got off the bus safely and no one was injured,' the said.

Miley, 21, had already arrived in New Orleans ahead of Tuesday night's Bangerz Tour gig and was pictured hitting a local karaoke bar seemingly unaware of the incident.

Noah Cyrus wrote: 'Cyrus bus down!!!' as she posted two videos of the incident online in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

'Thank u God for keeping us safe' Noah added. 'Yes, everyone got out safe no one is injured what so ever!! everything is okay!!' And Noah finally wrote: 'finally in a hotel. I'm going to sleep.' Miley is currently on the road for her Bangerz tour.
