Zach Lederer, The University of Maryland student who battled brain cancer for years and launched the "Zaching Against Cancer" campaign was laid to rest on Friday. When Zach came out of surgery several years ago he asked his dad to take a photo as he posed, with the caption saying "Zaching is in, Teebowing is out."
The photo went viral as hundreds - then thousands of people from around the world posted their "Zaching" photos. Zach's family and friends gathered on Friday at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City to say their final goodbyes. Family asked supporters who could not attend to carry on his legacy by wearing red today and raising their arms in his famous pose.
