Chiwetel Ejiofor 'Front-Runner' To Play Next James Bond Villain


Oscar nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor is tipped to star as the villain opposite Daniel Craig in the next James Bond film, according to latest reports.
Various media outlets such as The Wrap have said the 12 Years a Slave actor is being headhunted for the next 007 movie, which will be the 24th edition in the popular franchise.

Skyfall’s Sam Mendes has been drafted back to direct the Hollywood blockbuster which boasts a star-studded lineup, including Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw.
 

Although it hasn’t been confirmed whether the Oscar-nominated actor he appear in the movie, he will no doubt be a fantastic contender.

Website Varity added that “scheduling would still have to be worked out, but sources insist he is the front-runner for the job.”


Meanwhile, The Voice UK judge Kylie Minogue recently revealed that she would like to play Bond’s new love interest but worries age may be a factor.


She told Daily Star: “I would be the oldest Bond girl, but of course it would be amazing.”
