Iggy Azalea Reveals Fans Tried To Sexually Assault Her While Crowd Surfing During Shows [Video]
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea says she's had to take on new security measures for her concerts because fans touch her inappropriately when she jumps into the crowd as part of her show.
During an interview with New York City radio station Hot 97, the 23-year-old said she now wears two pairs of underwear and skin-coloured tights underneath her pants when she's on-stage to stop it from happening.
'I had to stop (crowd surfing),' she said.
'I'm only doing like 2000-seaters, but I still have to have barriers even if it's like 200 people.'
She said she had stopped because of the sexual advances from people in the crowd.
'I will get lurk tweets for like a week before my show,' Iggy said.
'That's a violation. I don't actually like that stuff. They think I'm real slutty.'
And she said it is often females - not males - who try to touch her.
'Girls will try to do it more than guys 'cause girls think it's cool,' she said.
Video footage of Iggy performing at the Beatdown event live at SOB's in May 2012, shows the rapper tripping and falling into the front row of the crowd one of her songs.
She then kicks off the stage and is carried through the crowd for a few seconds before her security team pull her back onto the stage.
