Kenya Moore Planning In Vitro Fertilization With African PrinceBoyfriend, Dbanj

Kenya Moore had a pretty upsetting end to the sixth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.Though the twirling diva spent most of the year throwing shade and stirring up drama, she experienced a very real and emotional moment on the night’s April 13 finale, which saw her putting her beloved puppy Velvet to rest after a tragic accident. But when one door closes, another one opens and Kenya isn’t wasting any time!
(Read our previous story about the relationship)

If you didn’t watch the finale through to the very end, you might have missed the ending cards that revealed a very big announcement for The Celebrity Apprentice contestant: She’s planning for a baby! And no longer in a vague, “someday” kind of way, as Kenya has officially started trying for a littlun with her “African prince” boyfriend, Dbanj.

According to the Bravo blurb, she and her mystery man are trying to have a child the old-fashioned way for now. However, if they are unable to conceive naturally, Kenya also divulged that she will undergo in vitro fertilization in June. How specific — and so soon!

We know Kenya can be a divisive character, but this news actually warms our hearts. The loss of Velvet was pretty tough to watch, and we liked Kenya’s Aunt Lori’s outlook when she said that maybe the tragedy wasn’t all for naught.

“Maybe she’s making room for someone else in your life,” Lori suggested about sweet, departed Velvet. “Do you believe you can have a child?  That may be one of the reasons why God called her away, so you can give this new child the undivided attention and your unconditional love.”

Here’s to a new chapter in Kenya’s life and hopefully a seventh season of RHoA with the most Gone With the Wind Fabulous mama-to-be.
