Shakira divides her time between her family in Spain and her work commitments in Los Angeles.
But the jetlag was surely worth it as Shakira treated her 15-month-old son Milan to a day out at a Barcelona amusement park last Tuesday.
The 37-year-old was joined by her brother Tonino and her mother-in-law Montserrat Bernabeu as they enjoyed the family day out.
Her commitments on The Voice mean Shakira is in the U.S. from Sunday until late on Tuesday each week.
She then jets home to her growing boy in Barcelona, where his footballer father Gerard Pique, 27, is a star player for FC Barcelona.
And while she must be constantly shattered by the time difference - not to mention the gruelling commute - Shakira looked stunning and casual in her no-fuss all-black ensemble.
