Singing Nuns Encore on Italy’s The Voice - Girls Just Want to Have Fun
Sister Cristina Scuccia, an Ursuline Sister of the Holy Family who stunned audiences with her singing on Italy's "The Voice" in March, returned to the stage again last week to belt out Cyndi Lauper's classic "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."

The 25-year-old Sicilian nun battled fellow contestant on the show 23-year-old Luna Palumbo, and emerged from the song showdown victorious.
"Oh daddy dear, you know you're still number one," Sister Cristina sang, pointing up to heaven with her cross swinging from her neck.
At the end of the song, the crowd cheered "Sorella, sorella" (sister in Italian.)
Judge and singing coach J-ax said, "She unlocked the next level like in a video game. She is now Mother Superior ... When Sister Cristina sings she gives joy, and this is her gift. I know it from watching my fellow coaches and the audience. It happens with immediate effect."
