Beyoncé Visits Sister Solange In New Orleans As The Pair Prove All Is Well While Posing For A Sweet Photo

Much has been made about her sister's violent skirmish with Jay Z in an elevator at the Met Gala in New York last week.

But Beyoncé is out to prove that the ugly scene is all behind them.

The 32-year-old singer posted an image to Instagram on Saturday of her posing with younger sister Solange, 27, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Sisterly love! Beyonce shares a snap of her and Solange with their arms around each other just days after sibling's elevator attack on Jay Z
As the younger Knowles sibling resides in The Big Easy, Beyoncé was clearly there to visit her sister as she captioned the image: 'New Orleans May17th 2014.'

In the heartwarming image, the Single Ladies singer and her sister have their arms wrapped around one another as they smile and pose for a picture.

Beyoncé donned a green and white striped tanktop while the T.O.N.Y. singer donned one of her signature retro yellow outfits in the snap.

Recovering himself: Jay Z was seen straightening himself out following the attack as he and Beyonce made their way to their cars
On Wednesday, Solange was seen with yet another one of her loved ones in her home state, partner Alan Ferguson, as the two enjoyed some downtime in the easygoing state of Lousiana.

Then the following day, the two sisters and Beyoncé's hubby Jay Z addressed the now infamous video captured by cameras at The Standard Hotel in New York.

'As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,' they said in a statement.

Shocked silence: Beyonce and Solange sat quietly in the backseat as their car pulled away
'Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.' (Read Statement)

A hotel surveillance video was leaked on Monday showing Solange lashing out wildly at her 44-year-old brother-in-law, with both her arms and her legs, while her sister stood beside them looking curiously impassive.

'The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,' the statement continued.

Support: The second picture features Beyonce and Solange embracing each other 'At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.'
Two days after the video leaked, Beyoncé showed her public support to her sister by once again taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday to post tender images of the two together.

It was the Drunk In Love crooner's first acknowledgement of the incident despite her leaving the captions for the five photos blank.

Fun times: The singer uploaded a picture of the pair smiling, while she head is placed lovingly on her sister's shoulder
