Iggy Azalea Flubs While Singing 'Fancy' On 'Dancing With The Stars' - All About the Phenom Rapper

Iggy Azalea hit the "Dancing with the Stars" stage during the show's finale on Tuesday, May 20, to perform her chart-topping hit "Fancy." But things didn't go exactly as planned when the beginning of the song seemed to be out of sync with her vocals.

"I'm so sorry, there's something wrong with my ear," she said as the song continued to play. She paused on the stage's staircase before moving on with the performance. Joined by her collaborator, Charli XCX, she finished "Fancy" and it still ruled. Watch the uh-oh moment Above:

If Tuesday night was your first exposure to Azalea, here are a few things to know about the model-gorgeous (no, really, she models too) rapper:

1. Her real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly.
Though she's best known by her stage name Iggy Azalea, those who love her most still call her by her given name. "My mum [calls me Amethyst] when she's mad at me," she tells PEOPLE, laughing. "And sometimes my boyfriend [NBA star Nick Young] calls me Amethyst. I don't know what that's about!" Fun fact: Iggy was her dog's name ("My dad picked him up about a week after I was born, which is crazy") and Azalea was the street her family grew up on in New South Wales, Australia.

2. No-carb diets are so not her thing.
In fact, the thing she misses most about her home country is the bakeries. "They bake fresh bread every morning, fresh pot pies, little cakes and biscuits, desserts and puff pastries," gushes the star, 23. "I would go buy a fresh loaf of bread every morning and it would still be hot."

3. She makes America sound so fancy.
One of the first "cool discoveries" she made about the United States is something we all take for granted: concessions at the movie theater. "You can buy pizza at the cinema!" she says. "I thought that was so ridiculous and weird ... [and] drive-through banks. We don't have that convenience. It was funny experiencing it, just the extravagance." But one thing she did have down under? Drive-through liquor stores. "Priorities," jokes Azalea, laughing.

4. She's a budding fashion icon.
Known for her sassy but glam style, Azalea draws comparisons to Gwen Stefani, who is actually one of her inspirations. "If I could trade closets with anyone, [it would] probably be Gwen Stefani or Jennifer Lopez," she says. "Gwen's a little bit more edgy, but I like that J.Lo likes to be bright and colorful and have beaded or [emblazoned] things. I'd raid her closet for a night out and Gwen's for daytime."

5. Girl can twerk!
Azalea can certainly shake her booty, but she humbly rates herself a six out of 10. The best twerk-ers "are probably all the strippers in Atlanta [where I used to live]," she says. "That's just how everybody dances at house parties and stuff."
