'Jelena', as they are affectionately called by their rabid fanbase, were spotted at a Los Angeles studio later that night, leading to speculation their romantic reunion may lead to a musical collaboration.
And the creative juices were clearly flowing, with Selena, 21, taking to her Instagram the following day to share a picture of her notepad, glasses and microphone on the floor with the caption, 'Fell asleep with lyrics, waking up with lyrics.'

While the pair haven't surprised anyone - least of all their friends - by reuniting once more, a source close to the Baby crooner recently told Us Weekly not to expect them to be together for the long haul.
