A truck driver pulls over a policeman and accuses him of speeding – a painfully awkward stand-off ensues.
At first the defiant cop warns the driver he may get a ticket for unlawful use of his horn after he beeped to get the officer’s attention.
The man accuses him of speeding and using a mobile phone behind the wheel. To which he stresses that police have the right to use a phone whilst driving. Then the truck driver reveals he is recording the entire spat on camera.
Soon after the cop disappears off with paperwork. He returns crestfallen.
The policeman says: ‘You’re just trying to help me drive safely, I understand that.’
The driver replies: ‘We’re all out here sharing the same roads, you should be as accountable to the same standard as I am.’
‘Absolutely,’ admits the cop.
