Walt Disney's Mansion Sells For $74 Million [PHOTOS]
The guy who owned Walt Disney's old mansion was not able to get his $90 million asking price, and had to settle for a measly $74 million. Sucks, right?
Gabriel Brener, co-owner of the Houston Dynamo soccer team, bought the Carolwood Estate in a ritzy area of L.A. in the 90s from the Disney trust for $8.45 million and made some HUGE improvements over the years.
The mansion now has 8-bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and sits on nearly 4 acres. It features a pool, wine cellar, tennis court, library, gym, putting green and movie room.
The estate -- listed by Jay Harris from The Agency, does not have many Disney touches left, but Brener held on to Mrs. Disney's infamous rose bushes, the tunnel and the famous Disney gate.
