But Lamar Odom seems to be pretty relaxed despite his NBA career being in jeopardy.
The 34-year-old athlete was seen putting on a cheeky display as he got ready for a hike at Fryman Canyon in Studio City, California on Saturday.
As the ex of Khloe Kardashian was applying sunscreen, his shorts and animal print boxers dropped down to show off a little more of his backside than he may have wanted.
Lamar was dressed comfortably for the outing as he donned a white vest, grey nike basketball shorts over tiger print underwear, colourful socks and a pair of Nike 'Galaxy' Foamposite sneakers.
After putting the sunblock on, the former NBA star completed the look by adding a mint-coloured T-shirt and military green bucket hat.
Despite last week's bad news, the former Khloe & Lamar star seemed to be in good spirits as he smiled before hitting the trail with a friend.
After well publicised claims of drug abuse, it seemed like Lamar had been handed the chance of a lifetime after signing a deal with his hometown team in April.
However even reuniting with legendary coach Phil Jackson, who works as the team's president, was not enough.
Phil said: 'Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player. We found it necessary to free up the roster spot.'
Success would have gone a long way towards disproving the gigantic forward's doubters, especially as it is said his wife demanded a divorce, over claims about his drug use and infidelity.
An insider told Us Weekly: 'There was a lot of hope there when he had his first initial talks with Phil [Jackson]. He gave him a real shot.
'He kind of threw this one away. He wasn't in it. He's not doing great. Admittedly, he's had a couple rough hands dealt with the family and the Khloe situation being pretty frequently thrown in his face.'
Another source claimed: 'Everyone was hoping that what went down with Khloe would see him rededicate himself to training and getting in shape for the season but he seems to only be half in it.'
