Tamera Mowry-Housley Claps Back At Internet Trolls Who Criticize Cree And Blue Ivy’s Hair - “Don’t Mess With My Nephew”:
Earlier in the month, Tia Mowry had to check people on her Instagram page because they were talking ill of her son, Cree. The actress put topknots in the boy’s hair for an outing and people criticized her and the child, claiming that the style was too feminine. Her response was this:
“I am proud to have a SON that embraces his natural hair :). Hair length does not define your sex. Last I checked a pen*s and a vag*na does. Pick up a book, educate yourself, and embrace cultures outside of your own and maybe you will see that there are PLENTY of MEN wearing top knots and MEN with long hair. Here’s a shout out to all the moms who have boys and girls with natural hair! Live ON!”
Well, Tamera Mowry-Housley arrived a the Fox 2014 Emmy Award Nominee Celebration in LA after the Emmy Awards and was asked about attacks on Cree, as well as comments people make about Blue Ivy and children’s hair in general. She didn’t seem to be aware of comments made about her nephew’s hair or that Tia responded to them, but when Hip Hollywood asked her about it, she was upset about it, as expected:
“She did? I do know that Tia always feels like maybe people are always talking about her son or something like that. Wow…his hair.
I think people need to leave children alone. Who does that? You know what, it tells you a lot about them, than what they’re talking about. If you’re really going to go online and talk about a kid, and talk about like Blue Ivy…don’t mess with my nephew…that just tells me a lot about your character. That is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. Wow. People should be able to do whatever they want to do with their child.”
Say that Tamera! Check out Mowry’s comments below and share your thoughts:
