The Crazy In Love singer celebrated turning 33 by frolicking on the beach with her family in the south of France on Thursday.
Sporting big smiles, the couple appeared to be in good spirits as they lounged in the sun despite ongoing rumours that they are heading for a split.
Beyonce covered up her enviable figure in a multi coloured muumuu that bared her cleavage as she sat on a blanket next to her adorable daughter.
She styled her highlighted wavy locks in a loose bob and wore a bright shade of red lipstick as she played with Blue Ivy.
The cute two-year-old was precious in a pink and teal bathing suit and sported a headband in her hair.
Hiding his gaze behind a pair of dark sunglasses, Jay Z stayed cheerful as he sat in a lounge chair behind his two main ladies.
The 99 Problems rapper was casually dressed in a white button down shirt and blue printed swimsuit as he played beach bat on the shore.
Joining the musical duo for the seaside fun were several family members including Beyonce's mother Tina and a hat-clad woman that looked like it may have been her sister Solange.
The group appeared to spare no expense as they had two large white tufted couches sprawled out on the sand, a table set up with various beverages as well as a canopy for escaping the blazing sun.
At one point the former Destiny's Child singer and her entourage even enjoyed a leisurely ride on a boat.
The family's celebration was also prominently announced with the words 'Happy B-Day' spelled out using sticks on the sand in front of their lavish encampment.
Prior to heading to the beach, Beyonce and Jay-Z both took to social media to commemorate the special day.
The Drunk In Love singer shared a cute image from her childhood on Beyonce.com, while her rapper spouse posted a new behind-the-scenes video from their On The Run tour - which featured the chart-topping beauty in nearly every clip - on his own personal blog, Life + Times.
The birthday girl looked adorable in her snap which seemed to be taken when the artist was only about four or five years old.
The budding performer, who grew up in Texas, wore a stylish pink and white striped T-shirt that had a high collar and short sleeves.
A Happy Birthday hat with blue and silver hues rounded out her look as she posed against a white brick wall.
With her hands on her hips, and giving a wide smile, Knowles already looked like a star.
Also on Thursday First Lady Michelle Obama took to Twitter to wish the superstar a happy birthday: 'You're an incredible role model, a phenomenal mother, and a wonderful friend. Hope you have an amazing day! –mo.'
Meanwhile her On The Run partner Jay posted a new video from their tour that showed Beyonce having a blast while performing various activities like dancing, rollerskating and holding a glass of champagne.

They were reportedly going to follow Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's plan of consciously uncoupling with style and honor.
