(Video) Dramatic Moment Texas Pastor Pins Down A Grandmother At Gunpoint After Catching Her Stealing Parcels From His Porch

  • Ferguson, 52, allegedly swiped packages off the porch in other instances
  • The pastor lured Ferguson to the porch by displaying fake packages

A woman was taken red-handed by a Texas pastor, who pointed a gun at her as she allegedly tried to steal from him last Friday.

KTRK, citing police, reported Pastor Benny Holmes directed the firearm at Laurie Ferguson when he stopped her from snatching packages off his Baytown porch.

Holmes' wife Pat told the affiliate station 'She said "I'm looking for my dog." He said "You found your dog. Bow wow."'

Ferguson allegedly swiped packages off the porch in other instances, KTRK reported.

'He was at his wit's end,' Pat Holmes told the affiliate station. 'He was determined in his mind that he would sit here, however long it took, to see if he could find her.'


Other missing belongings from the community were found at Ferguson's house, police told the affiliate station.

'I learned [police] had retrieved quite a few packages from her house,' she also said.


Speaking about a hat that spells 'Forgiven,' Pat Holmes told the affiliate station 'We already have it gift-wrapped.'

Benny Holmes lured Ferguson to the porch by displaying fake packages, Pat Holmes revealed to to ABC News.


The news site reported that on the Holmes' porch in last week's incident, Benny 'recognized the suspect as a woman he had stopped two years earlier when she walked by the side of his house claiming she was looking for a missing dog.'

Pat Holmes told ABC News 'I guess she uses that every time she gets caught.'

Ferguson faces a theft charge, the news site reported.
