Khloe Kardashian Slammed By Fans After She Posts Controversial Meme Joking About The Ku Klux Klan

Khloe Kardashian reposted a meme that's been going around the Internet.

She thought it was funny ... in a pre-Civil War kinda way.

Khloe has been criticised by fans online after she posted the meme poking fun at her and her sisters.

The 30-year-old star put a picture on Instagram on Tuesday of herself, along with Kim and Kourtney, which had been circulating online with text: 'The only KKK to ever let black men in.'

Backtracking a few hours later, Khloe removed the post but not before her Instagram comment section was filled by people who took offense to the joke, with more than 26,000 people weighing in on whether it was appropriate.

The reality star's almost brother-in-law Scott Disick, also found the meme amusing re-posting it on his Instagram.

Scott's fans were far more supportive of the post, with many laughing and passing it on to others.

Of course, until recently Khloe was dating Moroccan rapper French Montana and was previously married to Lamar Odom while sister Kim is married to Kanye West.

The KKK remains a presence in America and has since the mid-17th century been a murderous terrorist group that targeted those of colour and those who supported equal rights for all races.

While very active last century, especially in Southern parts of America during the Civil rights movement, recent estimates suggest there are still between 5,000 and 8,000
