Even if you didn’t watch Lifetime’s failed attempt at honoring the legacy of Aaliyah last night, there’s no way you didn’t catch the slanderous memes circulating all over the Internet that basically sum up the biopic in one word: trash.
We fully expected die hard Aaliyah fans to go in after we saw the suspect casting choices for the movie, but never did we imagine Timbaland (one of those horribly cast– evidence here.) would even pay the Lifetime biopic any mind. Well, he did. In fact, he dedicated 20 Instagram posts to make sure all the individuals behind the movie “feel his wrath.”
Timbo started out simply saying he hoped no one was watching the biopic, then he began posting several of the hilarious memes circulating IG about the painfully unbearable acting like this:
And then he started dropping his own IG videos to make sure the world knew exactly how he felt about the “bullsh!t.”
