Iggy Azalea is postponing her “Great Escape” tour until the fall, apparently due to tour production delays.
The Aussie pop-rapper, who spent plenty of time in Atlanta under the tutelage of T.I., was slated to play Philips Arena May 19.
That date has been changed to Oct. 15 at the venue. Opening acts for the rescheduled tour will be announced shortly, replacing the previously announced Nick Jonas and Tinashé.
Tickets for the original tour date will be honored, or refunds are available at point of purchase.
Azalea has become increasingly reticent on social media lately, pulling herself off Twitter and Instagram.
Iggy released a statement via Twitter and promised her fans that the delay would only make for a better tour.
Iggz HQ: The tour getting pushed back only means that it'll be way more amazing than it would've been in April. Good things take time.

According to the tour postponement announcement,
“It is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development.”
UPDATE: As a result of the postponement, Tinashe has pulled out of Iggy’s tour. However, she still plans to hit the road this summer and will make an announcement soon.
Unfortunately I won't be participating in the Great Escape Tour, but I would never disappoint - I WILL be on tour THIS summer! DETAILS SOON!
