DMX And His Bodyguards Accused Of Robbing Two Men At Gas Station

DMX and his bodyguards are accused of robbing two men of $3,200 in cash at a Newark gas station.

According to reports from Newark’s ABC 7 News, just after midnight on Sunday, DMX and his 15-person entourage stopped at an Exxon station on McCarter Highway.

Allegedly, the 21-year-old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, and his friend attempted to enter the store, which was locked, as fans crowded DMX asking for autographs.

When the alleged victims returned, DMX’s bodyguard is said to have approached.

“They probably thought we had a gun, because he has his hand in his pocket and that’s how people carry if they have one,” the alleged victim told ABC 7 News

“That’s why he asked him what was in his pocket. Then he was like ‘nah, there’s nothing in my pocket,’ then he showed him the money.” Allegedly, DMX, not his bodyguard, then grabbed the wad of cash. Said the alleged victim, “DMX took the money, but the bodyguard was the one who glanced us at the handle of his gun. He’s like, ‘Come on, yo, we out, we out,’ talking to his entourage.”

The victims claim the entire incident is caught on security cameras.

DMX’s attorney Murray Richman said of the incident, “The allegations are unequivocally and utterly false.” He added that, “any videotape would be dispositive.”

No charges have been filed in the ongoing investigation.
