Robert Downey, Jr. sat down for an interview with Channel 4 News to promote his new movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy changed topics to Downey's dark past.
Things took a turn when the reporter asked Robert Downey Jr. about prison, politics and family.
Downey cautions the anchor that his opinion has changed since the interview from five years ago, but the anchor took an even darker turn and asked the actor some personal questions about his past.
The reporter asked Downey:
"You've talked about the relationship with your father and the role of all of that in, you know, the dark periods you went through. Taking drugs, drinking, all of that. And I just wondered whether you think you're free of all that?"

Downey eventually removes the mic and walks out, but not before telling the guy he was "a little Diane Sawyer-y."
